1. Push through your fear.
2. Relax and step out of your comfort zone. 3. Project your voice. 4. Speak clearly. Take your time. 5. Turn and face the audience. Make eye contact. Look at 3 sections of the audience. 6. Cell phone presentations are not permitted. 7. Your slideshow should enhance your presentation. Do not constantly read the slide show to the audience. Discuss the information with the audience. This builds credibility and proves that you know the information. 8. Pay attention to the audience. 9. Limit fillers. (um, uh) 10. Stand up straight. 11. Do not put your hands in your pockets or on your hips when presenting. (Relax) 12. Do not swing your legs back and forth. (Relax) 13. Do not chew gum when presenting. 14. Remove hoodie hoods, hats, and ear devices before presenting. |
